Call of Duty Issues Statement About Anti-Cheat Efforts
A new announcement from Call of Duty promises change and increased security measures regarding the ongoing threat of hackers in the franchise.
In a recent update, Activision announced a hard stance regarding Call of Duty and its anti-cheat measures. After community and content-creator pressure has grown, Activision says it will take decisive action in regards to cheating within Call of Duty titles. While it does not have a permanent solution as of yet, the company seem to be doubling its efforts in preventing hackers and cheaters.
Previously, Call of Duty's publisher Activision announced a zero-tolerance position on cheaters and cheat providers. While massive ban waves, anti-cheat measures, and the banning of Engine Owning have assisted in buffing upCall of Duty's security, hackers continue to find a way around the many mechanisms. Now, Call of Duty is reasserting its position and telling fans it is working toward a more secure game experience.

Hopefully, the developer and publisher actions will help reduce the Call of Duty hacker problem, but fans are waiting for those actions to back up the developer's words.
In the announcement, the company acknowledges the constant threat of cheaters. While hack developers continue to work to exploit and disrupt gameplay, Call of Duty is dedicating 24/7 resources to combating cheat and hack programs being actively used.
